Promise of Redemption Announce Holiday Show // WTFB Ten Year Anniversary
Promise of Redemption will be playing a holiday show on December 29th in Philadelphia. The show will be held at Bourbon & Branch in Philadelphia. Vinnie Capuana (The Movielife, I Am The Avalanche) will be joining POR, as this show will also commemorate the ten year anniversary of POR's "When The Flowers Bloom..." (I Surrender Records, 2007). Shane and the rest of Promise of Redemption will be playing the record in full!

When the flowers bloom ... was an album of songs that were written in the wake of tragedy. These were songs not initially meant for public release and were a gateway to a type of therapy I still thank my lucky stars for: music. In the advice of friends and family, and my outlook that music heals in the toughest of times, I decided to put this record out to the world in hopes that my experience and my ability to put that experience to music could help others dealing with loss in any capacity, even if it were just one lyric - It would mean that my efforts contributed a positive life force into the world during the darkest of personal days. Though I am still sometimes a bit shy about this album for many reasons, one being it's extremely deep personal meaning. I am thoroughly proud of how much it helped me and how much I have seen it help others and the message that transpired from it. This day and age we need to look out for one another, we need to spread love into the world in the places that need it most. Most of all - we need to take all of these negatives and find ways to turn them positive.
On Dec 29th in my hometown of Philadelphia, PA I will celebrate this album the only way I know how...playing it in its entirety. I hope you'll join me in celebration of this album that means the world to me, and I know means the world to many of you. Surrounded by close friends and family (which includes those of you who I know will be there) this will be a night of music, reminiscing, singing, laughing, drinking, and most of all community. My friend Vinnie Caruana will be playing, as well as a few other special guests. I also have a special surprise to honor this album coming so stay tuned to all of the POR socials. This venue is a very intimate one, so I definitely recommend buying tickets in advance as it will sell out.
